The Big Hack, the “PredictFlow” project wins the challenge launched by Graded

Michele Gatto and Enza Piccolo 's GBP team, with their “PredictFlow” project , won the challenge launched by Graded , a Neapolitan energy company led by Vito Grassi, during “The Big Hack”, the Campania NewSteel and Codemotion hackathon held on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 June at the Apple Developer Academy.
An intense two-day event that saw three teams challenge each other with ideas and technology to identify a smart solution to a complex problem: how to homogenize the process of collecting energy and financial data from disparate sources.
The winning project, chosen for its approach suitable for multiple scenarios and ease of use for business operators, was awarded an Amazon voucher worth 2,500 euros.
Promoted by the University of Naples Federico II and Maker Faire Rome- The European Edition and sponsored by the Campania Region and the Municipality of Naples, “The Big Hack” brought together young developers, makers, IoT experts, technology enthusiasts and digital creatives from all over Italy.
The participation of Graded, represented by Gennaro Ardolino , Chief Information Security Officer of the company and CEO of Janus, accompanied by Ettore Amato , Software Architect of Janus, confirms the company's attention to new talents in the area and their contribution in ideas and projects. Fabio Palumbo and Nunzio De Cicco were also present at the Hackathon for the Graded/Janus team.
